Contract Kitting · Philadelphia
Contract kitting and kit assembly on a real production floor. Component kitting, multi-SKU packs, gift sets, retail displays and bundles — assembled by hand and packed ready to ship.
When a brand sells a gift set, a routine bundle, a subscription box, or a retail display, someone has to physically bring all those components together into one finished, sellable package. That is kitting — and it is what Complete Hand Assembly and Finishing has done for Philadelphia-area brands since 1991.
We take your finished components — bottles, jars, cartons, inserts, samples — and assemble, shrink-wrap, polybag, label, and pack them so they arrive retail- or ship-ready. Project-based, with low minimums (from around 100 units), so a launch or a seasonal set never gets held up by a co-packer's volume requirements.
Beyond assembly, we handle pick-and-pack, pack-out, palletizing, and preparing finished kits for e-commerce and retail shipment on your schedule — even the demanding ones. If a run comes back mislabeled or needs re-working, our contract packaging and rework services put it back into sellable condition fast.
Not all kitting is consumer gift sets. A large share of our kitting work is trade kitting — component kitting and kit assembly for commercial printers, folding carton companies, packaging manufacturers, and distributors who have the job but not the hands to build it.
That includes component kitting (bringing parts, literature, hardware and printed matter together into one work-ordered kit), sales and dealer kits, onboarding and field kits, literature packs, and multi-SKU packs built to a written spec and an approved first article. We work trade only on this kind of job: your paperwork, your label, and we never contact your customer.
Third-party logistics (3PL) providers and larger packagers use us as overflow when their own kitting and fulfillment floor is slammed. If a seasonal spike or a big launch is more than your team can absorb on the deadline, we are 20 minutes off I-95 and ready to take the overflow pick-and-pack and kitting work.
A large share of our kitting is for beauty and personal care brands — appearance-critical products that have to look perfect on the shelf. See our dedicated cosmetic & beauty packing page.
Kitting is assembling multiple components into one finished package — a gift set, bundle, or subscription box. Fulfillment is packing, palletizing, and shipping those finished units. We do both, and many customers use us for one or the other.
We work project-based with low minimums, often from around 100 units. Send your quantity and we'll quote it straight.
